the high price of drugs

Giving away the $10 seemed like it should be an easy task...I had a conversation the night before with a friend on the high cost of prescription drugs. After arriving at Wal-Mart, I decided I would hang around the pharmacy section of the store looking for a "needy" person. Needles to say, no one looked especially needy and I wasn't feeling that Holy Spirit prompting to give it to anyone in particular. Frustrated, I walked to the front of the store to do the easy thing...give it to the greeter...and she shook her head no and told me they weren't allowed to accept monetary gifts. Frustrated again, I walked back into the store and told God, "You really need to show me who you want me to bless." But--Nothing. I got into my car and then it occurred to me to take it to our local smalltown grocery store where there is also a pharmacy. When I arrived, there was absolutely no one in line to pick up prescriptions. So I talked to "Jane" behind the counter and explained what our church was doing. She said she'd be glad to keep the money until she found someone who really needed it. Later, she called to say there was a middle-aged woman who didn't have much money, but had a substantial monthly expense in prescriptions. She explained to her where the money came from and she was very excited and felt very blessed.
