Author Thread: Windsor ? Windsor Posted: Tuesday, February 19, 2008 1:00 PM (CST) Like everyone else, we had a hard time deciding who to bless with this money. I didn't get to attend the service of the reverse offering, but my husband did. He received $50. It sat with our bills for about a week before I decided to put it in my purse. I had a preconceived idea of where I wanted the money to go, but I think God's plan was different. We ventured to the East side of town for dinner at Souper Salad, not intending to find someone to bless. I overheard the manager talking with some other customers about how the servers are also the bussers. Anyway, our server was a 50-something hispanic women named Catalina. She was very prompt and polite and her customer service skills are something to be desired in this day and age. We finished our meal and asked my husband to leave the tip. He said he didn't have any cash on him...but I did! I'm not sure what an adrenalin rush feels like, but I'm pretty sure that's what that odd feeling was. I had clipped out a snippet of what the Unleash the Kindness and included that with the $50. We got up to give her the money and she went back into the kitchen...her manager asked if he could help, so we asked him if we could give a tip to our server. My 8 year old daughter got the privilege of giving it to her. My husband said that the managers jaw about hit the floor when he saw the tip...I only hope Catalina was just as floored.
