When we first started talking to GracePoint Church in Wichita, KS, we thought our Summer issue would provide a great opportunity to visit some smaller churches. We had met some of GracePoint’s people last summer, and we were impressed that they had grown to over 200 in 2 years. We had a lot of fun with a similar idea last year at this time. Your response was positive, which reminded and encouraged us to keep smaller churches in mind.

We made our first call at the beginning of February and found out that GracePoint had grown to over 400 already. "Okay, so they’re not exactly small anymore, but it’s close," we thought. So we booked the trip and started looking for some smaller churches to feature alongside them. But GracePoint wouldn’t cooperate. They just kept growing.
